Packets cannot be mailed to participants.
T-shirts & packets may be picked up at the BUDDY LAFORTUNE COMMUNITY CENTER 5202 S. Hudson Ave. on Friday, February 1 from 5pm-7pm or at the registration table at the event on Saturday, February 2 from 7am-7:45am. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU PICK-UP ON FRIDAY!
TULSA'S ONLY WINTER 5K WITH OBSTACLES!
If you survived the Tulsa Blizzard of 2011 and the Ice Storm of 2007, you can survive the BIG FREEZE of 2013!

The BIG FREEZE is the “sure cure” for cabin fever! Be one of hundreds who are crazy enough to get out of the house and “stick it” to old man winter! The course is certified and includes obstacles. Medal awards will be presented in standard USATF age groups and prizes will be given to the overall male and female winners. 

The BIG FREEZE takes place at LaFortune Park with race beginning at the Buddy LaFortune Community Center, 5202 S. Hudson Ave. (Tulsa, OK) around 3.2 miles of one of Tulsa's premier parks. You'll be running (or walking) past our huge playground & picnic areas, the newly renovated tennis courts, a championship golf course, baseball fields and gardens . . . with a few obstacles along the way!

All proceeds go to Park Friends, Inc. for activities and programs throughout the Tulsa County Parks. Thanks Tulsa, for supporting the best parks in the county!
